1. Mediation

Did you know?

According to the Family Mediation Council, as a result of mediation, agreements are reached in over 70% of cases.

A significant proportion of people are not aware of the way in which mediation works in the UK. As a result of the lack of awareness and misconceptions, some miss out on an opportunity to reach amicable solutions to disputes. Arranging a quick consultation will allow you to ask any questions you may have. We will guide you on what to expect.

Once you have decided to go ahead, the first step is to attend a Mediation Assessment Meeting remotely or in person to find out if the process is right for you.

Many people assume their cases are not suitable for mediation. However, according to data from the Family Mediation Council, three quarters choose to attend mediation after completing an assessment session.

If you think you need legal advice to help you during mediation, that can be arranged at any time during the process. We will also help direct you to relevant financial support. You may be eligible for Legal Aid or Mediation Scheme Vouchers. If you feel you are in need of mental health support, details of how to get in touch with the relevant mental health professionals will be provided.

Ask Us Anything

Family mediation is a process where an independent, trained professional helps you and your partner reach agreements on issues such as parenting, financial and property arrangements pertaining to a divorce.

Yes! As a UK certified mediator, you can rest assured that together we will be one step closer to a simple, reliable solution.

We can help connect you with a number of experienced lawyers and other professionals here in the UK. Alternatively, both parties can arrange their own lawyers to attend the mediation sessions.

This is not uncommon. However, we can help put them at ease and address any reservations. Leave it with us!

Mediation assessment sessions are fixed at £90. Joint mediation sessions are £115 per hour per person.

Whether you are a parent or not, mediation can help you reach an agreement about how to divide what there is, where you will live, and how your future finances will work. It can be hard to talk in a way that enables you to reach an agreement. Even if your case has already gone to court, mediation can help ease the process.

Mediation is simple. It is often cheaper, less time consuming and removes the stress associated with court.
It can help all parties to a dispute move on quickly to the next stages of their lives, and maintain dignified and respectful relationships.
Most importantly, it works.
